The Arc of San Antonio was founded in 1954 by parents who needed support and services for their children with special needs. Today, The Arc''s mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. We fulfill this mission through a wide range of services including day habilitation for adults, after-school and summer programs for children and youth, and information, referral and case management for people with developmental disabilities throughout the community.
