Hello Friends and Family,

Hope that the end of summer finds you all in great health and spirits! 

Last year, many of you opened your hearts to help me raise funds for Akshaya Patra, one of the most impressive nonprofit organizations I have ever come to know about.  This year, I ned your help again!

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a WONDERFUL nonprofit that provides FREE, healthy school lunches for impoverished kids in India.  This creates an incentive for poor families to send kids to school, and also feeds nourishing meals to the kids, which helps them to grow and learn!  And guess what - they feed over ONE MILLION kids a year, in 7 Indian states!  Awesome, huh?!

Once again this year, I am participating in a fundraiser Walk-A-Thon to raise funds for Akshaya Patra, on September 20, 2009 here in Boston - - and I've recruited Brijesh to join me!  If you are a local - - please come out and join us!  (details on website)  Otherwise, please consider sponsoring us with a donation!

Donations of any amount are more than welcome.  But just to tell you - - thanks to Akshaya Patra's hard work and efficient business model, a $28 donation buys free school lunch for one child for a FULL YEAR!  Can you believe that?!  It's AMAZING! :)
