Thank-you everyone who showed up at Pierson's and found themselves supporting The Kid Walk Art Team. Thank you Pierson's for allowing us to table there . We had a great time. For those of you who missed it we sold cheese cakes and "love rocks". We made 500.00 in donations.

"Love Rocks" are given out for a donation,

Making a donation is sharing the love,

and that rocks! so we call them "Love Rocks"

If your interested in the "Love Rocks" we will drop some off at The Art Center, Consider the Alternatives book store and the Bikram yoga college on 5th street in Eureka. "Love Rocks" are small river rocks that have hearts painted on them using puff paints. They go for a suggested donation of three dollars. They are created by me, my son, his friends, and my CASA kid.

Thank you so much everyone who bought brownies, cheese cakes, coolies and hair sticks at Arts Alive last Saturday night. and an extra thanks from Mika our young Tattoo artist who earned a whopping 97.00 dollars spraying on tattoos.

Coming up next will be "love rocks" stay tuned for more details of what they are and how to get them!

The Art Teem is participating in the 2007 CASA Kid Walk – an event to support abused and neglected children. We are: artists, film makers, children lovers, and children; from: Saudi Arabia, Japan, Taiwan, and Humboldt county teaming up to help change the circumstances for three children next year. That’s right, we want to raise $3,000 by October 13^th to provide three children with advocates next year.

CASA needs our help.  Only 2 in 4 children who need a CASA get a CASA.  You can help by making a tax deductible sponsorship.  If you'd rather not donate online, you can send a check made out to CASA with "CASA Cares" in the memo to:
