Welcome! ASACIC will host the 2009 'Take a Step for Autism' Walk and Fun Day on
Saturday, September 26th, 8:00 - 11:30 p.m. (Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.)
Washington Park in Springfield, IL at the Pavilion area by the pond
We need you to help raise awareness for autism spectrum disorders and to help fundraise for this important cause.
Registration is FREE. There will be musical entertainment, kids' activities, and prizes (information below)!
To register as a walker or volunteer, to start or join a team, and/or set up an optional personal fundraising page even if you don't walk - just click the "registration for the event" at the top middle of this page . (You can also register by bringing your completed walk flyer available at www.asacic.org or by calling 241-2023.)
Why we walk: Autism now affects 1 out of every 150 children born - new studies are documenting even more. ASACIC mission: To improve the lives of all affected by autism in the central Illinois area.

PRIZE INFORMATION!
- Registrant with: $100 in pledges receives an event t-shirt or water cooler, $250 in pledges receives event t-shirt plus a water cooler. Donation levels of $500, $750 and $1,000 receive additional prizes and recognition!
- A special "ASACIC school kit" may be earned in lieu of the above prizes for each $300 in donations. A special form is required to be completed to designate the school to receive.
