2008 was another successful Ride for Kids®. I am so proud of all the hard work by the countless volunteers and the tireless fundraising done by everyone, motorcyclist, volunteers, task force, friends and family.
Because of everyone’s effort we not only exceeded our goal, we broke Birmingham’s record with announced total of $105,000. After the event more donations poured in bringing the yearend total to just under $107,000! So thank you one and all for your continued support. Personally, I could not have made my goal without you!
With our next event just around the coroner okay, nine months, but believe me when I tell you it is really just around the coroner I have already started on my fundraising setting the bar just a little higher for this year my goal $15,000.
I hope that you will all take a minute and look at the attached links for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Ride for Kids to see all of the amazing research and treatment that have come from the money raised by YOU. Remember you don’t have to be a motorcyclist to be involved after all it’s all about helping the kids and finding the cure for pediatric brain cancer.
