Our personal message:

Our page is called Aut2Give because of our two special little guys with autism.

This will be Curt and Colton's first year competing in Special Olympics because they are now eight years old.  They've had so much fun being a part of the Montana Torch Run for the past three years.  The Torch will relay through Sanders County on April 28th on it's way to the State Games in Bozeman.

The event has grown each year and this one looks to be the most exciting ever, with the dismissal of all their classmates to cheer them on. All elementary school, middle school, and junior high students will be lining the streets awaiting their arrival with police escort.  How cool is that?!

Montana's Law Enforcement Torch Run is so important because the proceeds go directly toward athlete activities--from uniforms, to travel costs, to special events like dances and carnivals, and helping fund the Regional and State Olympic games themselves.  Every dollar raised in Montana stays in Montana.  It is Special Olympic's promise that no athlete or their family ever have to make finances a consideration of whether they can participate or not.

Suggestions for levels of giving if you're interested...

$5 for the number of events our new Sanders County Super Hawks team will compete in

$28 for the number of years the Law Enforcement Torch Run has existed

$34--the cost of one full Sanders County Super Hawk uniform

$56 counties in Montana with Special Olympians participating in the State Games. These athletes will collectively travel 147,046 miles to get to Bozeman on May 12th.

$100 for 100m dash Curt and Colton will run on April 24 (Regionals) and May 13 (State)

$180 miles the Sanders County Torch will have to cover in just one day.  Whew!

Thank you so much for your support, especially with everyone's tight finances right now.  Please know that your FULL support is appreciated--not the money--but your happy thoughts.  We would love to hear some happy thoughts--send to Sanders County Super Hawks Special Olympic Team, Box 2780, Thompson Falls, MT  59873.

Please forward this on to anyone you think might be interested.  Curt and Colton would say "THANK YOU."
