Sweet, little Abby came to Utah Friends of Basset Hounds with foxtails deeply, deeply embedded in the folds of her belly.  She's no doubt had a few litters of puppies and it's sad to see how her belly drags on the ground when she walks. 

           To make things even more difficult for her, she is scheduled to have back surgery as soon as she gets over  the kennel cough and touch of pneumonia she has. She has TWO areas in her back that need to be repaired. With all this going on, she still wags her tail...a little bit.   We'll definitely be needing some serious help with her vet bills.  Please keep her in your thoughts.  She's not even three years old yet.

         We're going to need immediate financial help with her medical bills; an estimated cost of $4,000. She deserves a chance at a happy, pain free life, something she's never known. 

          We've had many sweet bassets come into our care, but she is by far the most endearing hound I've met in quite some time.  Please consider helping with Abby.
