Special Olympics Alabama

About my charity: Special Olympics Alabama provides year-round sports training and competition for over 13,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in 19 sports.   All of our programs are provided at no cost to the athletes or their families.  Special Olympics demonstrates, through the joy of sports, the simple idea that acceptance and respect can be a powerful building block for communites.  The funds necessary to operate come from the generosity of friends like you!

Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Alabama is a major supporter of our programs, having raised more than a quarter million dollars for our athletes.  With your help, we can raise much, much more!
