Special Olympics Alabama provides year-round sports training and competition for over 14,500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in 19 sports. All of our programs are provided at no cost to the athletes or their families. Special Olympics demonstrates, through the joy of sports, the simple idea that acceptance and respect can be a powerful building block for communites.
