The Bangor Humane Society is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of all pets through education, advocacy and quality care.  We receive no funding on the local, state or federal levels.  This means we need you to help us raise funds to provide food, shelter and care for pets while they await their forever homes. Thank you for your support of the homeless animals that find temporary sanctuary at the Bangor Humane Society.  

How your contribution helps: 
$25 provides three veterinary exams at our in-house clinic.
$40 covers the costs of one litter of kittens in foster care for eight weeks.
$60 covers the cost of a spay or neuter of one cat.
$100 provides food, shelter, care and love for seven dogs for one day.
$500 provides medical treatment for two injured pets that may not otherwise have a chance.
