Hi there!  Thanks for coming to our page.  We're Minx and Baxter, the marvelous cats you see in the picture.  Baxter's the shy one, pretending to be asleep on the kitty kondo.  Minx is the little cutie pie (ok, it's Minx here typing this) in Barb's arms. 

So we wanted to tell you the real story of how we came to adopt  her.  And she's pretty good to us, so we'll be nice.  See... she is a displaced farmer's daughter, and was sad that she didn't have any animals.  So she volunteered at ARF to make up for that.  Well, the first day she volunteered as a greeter (actually she was not even full fledged...just a 'coachee'), she came to see us in our condo.  We were living together, and decided she was a soft touch.. could probably con her into taking us BOTH home.  So Baxter did the scared cat thing, and only came out for Minx...and yep!  It worked... she took us both home.

So we told her she should do some giving back to ARF, and do this webpage to raise some cash.  Apparently you humans use cash instead of pettng and purring ...interesting... but anyway, she agreed to do it.  It's a dog walk, so we can't go to it (like we even WANTED to!), but we met some nice dogs at ARF, and we don't have any problem with them representing us there. 

Barbara will probably look like some pathetic loser with no dog to walk, so the thing YOU can do is help her be a stellar fund raiser.  She'd feel a lot better about not having any furry friend there if she knew you were supporting her.

We're very lucky to have a forever home with her..she takes really good care of us, but she really should stop buying all those stupid toys.  We don't play with them... and that baby talk thing she does?  Annoying as hell... but you know, we put up with it because she feeds us GREAT food... but if you are ever around her when she talks to us...please don't laugh at her.  She thinks she's a big tough union thug... but she is a big baby when she talks to us.

So please...  help our previous home do the good work they do... they do it from love and they do it with kindness.  It's an incredible organization... and every dollar helps.  So give $5, $10, whatever you can...
