Join the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center for our 'Walk for Change!' 3rd Annual Benefit Walk on April 6, 2008!

Why Walk?
For a friend. For someone in your family. For yourself. For all who are affected by sexual violence. 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetimes. You can change the numbers by walking on April 6th.
Every step you walk and every dollar you raise makes it possible to live in a world without sexual violence.

This Year's Goal:    600 Walkers, $90, 000 Raised - Every Step Makes a Difference!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to all who walked on Sunday! Thank you all for your caring, generosity, and for all that you do to create change and make a better world.

Around 700 Walkers participated, and $76,164 was raised!
Update: As of 6/23, $82,488 has been raised by all of you! Thank you!

FirstGiving is still up and accepting donations until June 30, so please keep the momentum going if you'd like! Our deepest gratitude for your support!

BARCC received the 2006 Non-Profit of the Year Award from the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce for "superior performance, quality and consistency in the pursuit of its mission". We are committed to ensuring that survivors receive the highest standard of care and to preventing sexual violence in all its forms. All proceeds from the Walk support BARCC's free services.
