Why is Big Brothers Big Sisters so important to our family? 

As many of by dear friends, family members, and colleagues know, Douglas and Summer met through BBBS in Chicago!  Summer was the BIG and Douglas was the LITTLE!  Because of our relationship, when Douglas was able to move to a new and permanent home, he became the eldest son in our family. 

The miraculous relationships that grow through Big Brothers Big Sister are amazing.  Compassion for others and new ways of looking at life situations are just a few of the transformations that occur for Bigs and Littles... and ALL those involved.
