Our Mission: To provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

BBBS of Park County was established in 1977.  In 2010 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Park County served 116 youth in Park and Sweet Grass Counties. Our programs are the only proven effective mentoring programs. Many of BBBS-PC's youth served are considered to come from "at risk" homes.

• 70% of them from low-income to poverty level households
• 60% of them from single family homes
  
• 20% of them from parents that are currently or have been incarcerated
• 25% of them from families of substance abuse

BUT, our programs are proven effective! Children after one year of professionally supported 1-to-1 mentoring relationships in our programs, have shown the following results.

• 91% increase their self confidence!
• 84% increase their ability to express their feelings!
• 83% improve their relationships with adults!
• 75% improve their attitutes towards school!
• 43% decrease their tendency towards school delinquency!

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Park County we believe giving children an adult mentor they can look up to and spend time with is a key component in helping them reach their potential.
