In 2007, close to 100 Special Olympians took the Plunge in support of their own cause.  Max, who is pictured to the left, is just one of those athletes.  He has been involved in Special Olympics Virginia for over 2 decades.  Over the years, he has participated in many sports.  Today, he concentrates on swimming where he competes in the 100 Free, 50 Back and 25 Butterfly.
