A team of co-workers, my wife and I are raising awareness and contributions by participating in a motorcycle ride on May 7th to help children battling pediatric brain tumors. This event is not "just another excuse to ride." Everyone involved with this nationwide organization has shared with us only one focus from the beginning- the kids. Motorcycling happens to be the avenue they choose to raise funding and awareness for research.  With a 65 mile local route fully escorted by law enforcement, 300+ motorcycles definitely raises awareness! It is capped off with presentations from Duke University medical researchers and, most importantly, children who have survived due to these fundraising efforts. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is an efficiently run group that gives 91% of every dollar directly to research.
