Walk at Woofstock

"Woofstock," this year's dog walk, formerly "Bark in the Park," will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2008, at Burbank Park in Pittsfield.  Registration begins at 10 a.m.  In addition to the 1.5 mile walk, walkers, spectators and all attending animal lovers will be treated to a raffle, an array of new doggie games, demonstrations, fun prizes, and fabulous foods, including, for the first time a barbeque.

We urge walkers to enlist the support of as many sponsors as possible to help the shelter reach its goal of $30,000.  You can set up your personal fundraising page, just follow the directions below.

Individuals and teams raising the highest sums will be among Woofstock's special honorees.  Those who raise a minimum of $2,500 will also recieve an Alpha Society Award and have their name engraved on the Alpha Society plaque that is on display at BHS.
