In 2008 I volunteered at the Delaware County SPCA a few hours on alternating weekends for about 5 months walking the dogs in the shelter that were up for adoption. I was impressed with the Staff and the many dedicated volunteers I met. These volunteers provide foster homes to save adoptable cats and dogs from euthanasia due to lack of homes, do outreach, donate shelter supplies, fund-raise, the list goes on and on.
