Going the Distance for the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro
The 5th Annual Going the Distance Ride for the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro is on Saturday June 28th (June 29th rain date). Choose one of our routes of 40, 60 or 100 miles that start and end at the Marlboro College Graduate School, Brattleboro, VT.
The 100 mile route goes from Brattleboro to the Northampton area and back. This is a beautiful, scenic route along the Connecticut River, on quiet, well paved roads. The shorter routes utilize some of the route and rest stops of the Century Ride. We'll have cue sheets, maps and all routes will be well marked.
This fully supported ride will have rest stops with great food and drink at approximately 20 mile intervals. Both longer routes have a catered lunch midway with a chance to swim. Sag vans will ride the route to support our riders. There'll be an end of ride picnic with food and drink on the patio of the Graduate School.
Our goal for this fundraising ride is to have each rider raise $500 or more for the Club. This is a "goal" not a "committment." We’ll help you with fundraising, have T shirts for all riders and prizes for those who raise over $500.
If you're interested in riding, contact Bob at: email@example.com for more information.
Or you can support us by writing a check to the Boys & Girls Club, with the name of the rider you wish to support in the memo line and mail it to Boys & Girls Club, 17 Flat St. Brattleboro, VT 05301. Or donate on line using a rider's secure fundraising page on FirstGiving. The list of riders with links to their fundraising page is below.
