The 21st Annual Bike-A-Thon

Register ASAP! It’s never too early to fundraise, and it can be a lot of fun. Join or form a team to add a bit of competition & comraderie. Chances are, the $ of the ride will be way easier than you thought, and every dollar not only feels good, it goes a long way at Bikes Not Bombs!

We'll send you a packet with a guide to fundraising, a schedule of training rides, a worknight pass, an invitation to a party for registered riders at BNB's Hub, and more goodies! The minimum to raise is a relatively low $150.00.

Sunday June 8 is more than a great ride - it’s the first annual Green Roots Festival!  Open to the public: live music, food, workshops, info tables, speakers (including Bill McKibben), and fanfare for riders.

BNB promotes bicycle technology as a concrete alternative to war and environmental destruction.

BNB is a nexus of bike recycling and community empowerment both in lower income neighborhoods of Boston and in nations of the Global South. Young people and adults are involved in mutually respectful leadership development and environmental stewardship with programs based around the simple, amazing bicycle.

Thousands of thoughtful people in the Boston-area now choose to donate over 5,000 bicycles to BNB - instead of the landfill - annually.

In 24 years, we’ve shipped 30,000 bicycles to new lives in eleven countries while here at home, 1,700 young people have been empowered by bike safety and mechanics skills at our Boston training center and the BNB Bike Shop.
