Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

 

My mom was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer last year. Fortunately they caught it early and after a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation therapy her cancer is gone. This experience made me realize that cancer is definitely not just something that happens to "someone else", it is extremely prevalent and it can happen to anyone no matter their gender, race or lifestyle. Which is why places and charities like Gilda's Club are so important.

 

So this year I will be running the Detroit Half Marathon for Gilda's Club, for my mom and for anyone else who's life has been effected by Cancer.

 

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
