Our Mission:
Provide a temporary home, a safe refuge, and care for stray, unwanted and homeless animals.
Work aggressively to place each animal that comes to our shelter in a loving, permanent home.
Strive to end the euthanasia of adoptable animals by promoting and offering affordable spaying and neutering to control the population of unwanted animals in our area, and addressing the issues that cause people to give up animals.
Advance the cause of the humane treatment of animals, and increase awareness of animal issues through public education.
Ensure a peaceful final resting place for beloved companion animals, through the operation of a beautiful and well-maintained cemetery for companion animals.

Tips for Successful Fundraising
Begin fundraising today! Email your friends and family the link to your personal page website. Your supporters will be able to follow a link in their email and connect directly to your fundraising page.
THINK BIG! We suggest that you set a minimum goal of $150, but why stop there? This is for the homeless animals! The clearer you are about your fundraising goal, the more likely you are to reach it. So what is your personal goal? $1,000? $5,000? $10,000?
Never underestimate your donors. Start by asking high. This allows your donor room to volunteer an amount that they might consider manageable. You never know, they may surprise you and give the amount you request.
Let your donors know why raising funds for the Baltimore Humane Society matters!
