My personal message:

Thanks to everyone for helping me raise an amazing $15,000 for Fisher House!  The generosity of family, friends and fellow citizens has been amazing.  Your enthusiastic response gives me hope that, together, we can do more.  So I've increased my fundraising goal from $15,000 to $20,000.  Our veterans deserve the very best.  Thanks again for your continued support!

Welcome,

I will be departing from San Francisco June 3nd, 2007 to begin a 4000 mile bicycle ride across our great country. Fifty-two days later on July 25th, I will end my ride at Portsmouth, New Hampshire .  I am dedicating my ride to the men, women and families of the Armed Services of this country by raising funds for the Fisher House Foundation http://www.fisherhouse.org

As a veteran, I remember what it was like returning home from a war.  Because of my experiences, I believe it is extremely important to provide support now and in the future to those who have risked their lives serving in the Armed Services. Your pledge or donation to this charity will help provide care for our service men, women and their families, while acknowledging their sacrifices for us and our country.

The Fisher House Foundation is a unique private-public partnership that supports ’s wounded military and families. A long-term stay in a military hospital, sometimes thousands of miles away from home, could mean expensive lodging and separation from loved ones. In recognition of the special sacrifices of the severely wounded service members, the Fisher House Foundation donates “comfort homes” so families can confront medical crises together. Built on the grounds of major military and Veterans Administration medical centers across the , these “homes away from home” extend the support normally provided by the military services and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Please join me in honoring those who have served this country. Look into your heart and provide a pledge or contribution to this worthy foundation that provides valuable and important assistance to those that have given so much.

Thank you in advance for your welcomed pledge or contribution.
