Founded in 1998 by two-time survivor, Lyn Wasserman, Breast Friends provides services and support to breast cancer patients in the Metro-Atlanta area and also act as a national, and even international, resource for immediate support via our partnership with Network of Strength and their 24-hour toll-free hotline, website and e-mail. Breast Friends provides individual emotional support, practical assistance, and information and resources for breast cancer patients, their families and friends. Breast Friends, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation funded solely by grants, private donations and fundraising events.
