Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am running in a half marathon to raise money for the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation. Our team, The Little Team That Could, is running in honor of my late wife Payton. Payton lost her life to this rare form of cancer in January of 2007. Last year our team consisted of many family members and friends coming together to remember Payton and to fight this disease. She had such a positive effect on all our lives and we are all much better and stronger people because of her. This is a wonderful event that brings us together to remember Payton while supporting an organization that is trying to find a cure for this type of cancer.
The good news for me this year is that I actually like to run more than last year. That’s not saying that I like to run, but just that I like it more. Last year I finished in 2:40. I ran, very slowly, all but two miles. This year my goal is to finish in 2 hours or less and to run the entire time. We hope that you can support us and support the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation.
