WHY?
As many of you know, my cousin, Julie (whom I usually refer to as my little sister) was recently diagnosed with Lupus. Unfortunately, she was studying abroad in Prague and suffered a lot of pain before finally being diagnosed with ths awful disease. Thankfully, she is back home and doing all she can to make her college life as "normal" as possible. Not many college kids these days would have the strength to continue their dreams and goals, while suffering through the side effects of chemotherapy. Julie is one of the strongest people I know and she has such a positive outlook on her health and future. Let’s just say, she’s not your typical 21 year old.
Julie has never stopped fighting, no matter what the battle, and this is just one more thing that will be fought. Hard. Come help fight and Walk for Lupus Now!
WHEN?
On September 6th, 2008 thousands of people will join in Julie's current "hometown", of Chicago to Walk for Lupus Now. Come and walk with us! Help us fight the battle of Lupus! We'd love to see you all there!
