There are 4,900 males and 790 females are currently living in the Kansas City area, (Cass, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Platte and Ray Counties in Missouri and Johnson, Leavenworh, Miami and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas.) that are infected with the HIV virus and as of 2006 160 living with aids.    

With these statistics it is not hard to find someone who is not affected by this rising epidemic.We all inadvertently know someone who is infected whether it be gay, straight, lesbian, child, mother, father or friend, if not ourselves. 

we all know times are hard and the economy is in bad shape but every little bit counts. Just think of it as your good deed for the day and a way of putting some good karma out there in the world. The money you give will help in finding a cure, stopping the spread and educating the youth as well as provide assitance to those who are infected.
