Join us for “Christina’s Kidz’ Florida Fundraising Frenzy!”
On January 31, 2010, BTFC staff will join Christina Reyes in Miami for the ING Miami Half-Marathon. This will be the 4th consecutive year that Christina has participated in this event as a means of raising funds for Christina’s Kidz, our south Florida chapter. Since Christina’s Kidz first came into being, Christina has raised over $150,000 which has assisted 110 families of children with brain and spinal cord tumors throughout Florida. If it were not for Christina and her generous family and friends, BTFC would not be able to provide financial assistance to our Florida families.
Not everyone can go to Miami to participate, but there are ways everyone can help. By creating an online fundraising page – just like Christina does each year – and asking friends, family, coworkers, etc. to give – even a small amount - you too can help ensure that we can continue to support the many Florida families who need us. Doing this in memory or in honor of your own child, or a child you know, makes this an extremely meaningful endeavor.
