Greetings-

As you all know by now, the death toll from Cyclone Nargis hitting  Burma has been estimated at 100,000 with another 43,000  Burmese missing and a million homeless.

The Heart Touch Project's partner organization in Thailand-The Sangha Metta Project is able to get supplies and aid to the Burmese directly through a monastic foundation which has both monk and lay members and which has a long and good reputation for charitable work in many townships and districts all throughout the country .

We are helping them by raising funds here which will go directly to the people who have been affected.

I know that we are all nervous about our own economy at this time but even a small contribution will go a long way in Burma. The funds will be used to provide food, medical care, and shelter for the homeless.
