Mission: The mission of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health.

About BCRF:The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is an independent 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health. A minimum of 85% of all funds raised goes to breast cancer research grants and awareness programs. BCRF is currently funding 166 scientists from top universities and academic medical centers across the globe. The Foundation has received exceptional recognition from organizations that monitor and provide unbiased information on charities. Most notably: in 2008, the Foundation received the highest rating from Charity Navigator, four stars, for the seventh consecutive year, which means BCRF has outperformed 99% of more than 5,000 evaluated charities in efficiently managing its finances! In addition, the American Institute of Philanthropy re-evaluated BCRF's "A" rating since 2002, and awarded BCRF an "A+" rating in 2008.
