The Cambodia Trust works with disadvantaged disabled people to enable them to participate in school, employment and community life. The Trust aims to reduce poverty and increase self-sufficiency, through rehabilitation, community work, training and advocacy.
In developing countries such as Cambodia, disabled people face discrimination at every level of society. An estimated 98% of children with disabilities receive no education. 96-97% of people with disabilities in developing countries have no access to the rehabilitation services that would enable them to live self-sufficient lives. The Cambodia Trust offers practical support to help people with disabilities to break the cycle of poverty.
By supporting our work, you can offer a helping hand out of poverty. Your donations will be used to provide prosthetic limbs, braces and wheelchairs, to increase mobility for landmine survivors and other disadvantaged disabled people. Mobility is the first step towards independence.
