Camp Mak-A-Dream is celebrating it's 15th season this year of offering medically supervised, cost-free programs for children, teens, young adult and families affected by cancer. We offer year-round camp experiences at our lovely 87 acre facility in Gold Creek, Montana. Participants come from all across the country (and beyond) and to date, we've welcomed over 4,500 individuals at camp.
A week at camp gives these young people a chance to make friends, build confidence and self-esteem, try new things, have fun and most importantly, feel 'normal.' Our on-site medical facility and professional staff, along with hundreds of volunteers, allow us to welcome participants even in the midst of cancer therapy.
RATPOD is the single largest fund raising source for Camp Mak-A-Dream and we welcome your involvement!
We've made it simple for you to raise funds quickly & easily for Camp Mak-A-Dream (Children's Oncology Camp Foundation) by designing your own fund raising page. Getting started is easy. It only takes a few minutes to create your Online Fundraising Page:
1. Click the Get Started button and select the existing RATPOD event.
2. Personalize the text and the photo on your Online Fundraising Page to express your passions and your purpose.
3. Send the link out to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you reach your goal.
You can set your own goal, display a list of donors who have given through your page, upload your own photo, personalize a message and thank you to donors and track your progress. Remember, prizes will be awarded to the top-donation earning RATPOD riders...plus, you can earn a free 2009 jersey by raising $500+ or the coveted 'yellow' jersey for $1,000+ (plus earn the chance to pre-register for next year's ride)!
