Camp Mak-A-Dream is entering it's 18th season this year of offering medically supervised, cost-free programs for children, teens, young adult and families affected by cancer. We offer year-round camp experiences at our lovely 87 acre facility in Gold Creek, Montana. Participants come from all across the country (and beyond) and to date, we've welcomed over 5,300 individuals at camp.
A week at camp gives these young people a chance to make friends, build confidence and self-esteem, try new things, have fun and most importantly, feel 'normal.' Our on-site medical facility and professional staff, along with hundreds of volunteers, allow us to welcome participants even in the midst of cancer therapy.
Camp Mak-A-Dream's largest single fund raising event is called RATPOD and we welcome your involvement!
We've made it simple for you to raise funds by designing your own fund raising page. Getting started is easy. It only takes a few minutes to create your Online Fundraising Page. Just click the 'Get Started' button and select the RATPOD 2012 event.
If you simply want to make a donation to a rider participating in the RATPOD 2012 event, click on the June 23/RATPOD event link in the upper right corner of this page and then on the 'Fundraisers' tab. You can either type your riders' name into the 'Search for' box, or view a list of all riders' pages sorted alphabetically by first or last name.
Once you've found the rider's name you'd like to support, you can click on their fund raising page and donate directly.
You will receive an electronic confirmation message showing the amount of your gift. This keep a printed copy of this message as it will serve as your tax receipt.
