My personal message:
Hi my name is Jacob Seilheimer and I'm fat...

In fact, when I started this journey a few months ago I topped the scales at over 438-pounds.  One day I just got sick of it all...

I got sick of children pointing and laughing at me.  I got sick of being the butt of people's jokes.  I got sick of wondering if my heart was going to give out in my sleep or if I'd wake up in the morning.

So I took a stand and made a MAJOR change.

That's why I'm running the Boston Marathon for charity on April 16th, 2007.

I figured if I was going to turn my life around, I should impact the lives of as many others as possible.  After all, unless you have somebody with cancer in your life right now (or somebody in the past) it's impossible to understand the heartache involved with watching somebody you love literally deteriorate before your eyes.

I realize most of you won't be able to line the route on Marathon Monday, however the American Cancer Society would greatly appreciate your support.  Donating through this site is simple, safe, secure, and tax deductible.  It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.

We also encourage you to forward this page to anybody who you think would be willing to support our cause.  If you would like to discuss cancer or our fundraising efforts, please contact me at jacob@whatwouldjacobdo.com

We hope that you will join us in this cause and fight the battle.  It's time to end all the pain and suffering.  Every dollar amount helps and will make a difference.

Words cannot express my feelings towards all the support and generosity we've received from all over the world!

Love and thanks!
Jacob
