Hi Everyone

Well here I go again...lol  I will be chaining myself to a doghouse the day after my sons wedding. Sat June 27, 2009 beginning at 10am and lasting at least 8 hours at 9 Cannonball Road  Pompton Lakes, NJ to help raise funds and awareness for all the poor dogs who are chained their entire lives.  Please support my effort if you can and stop by a check it out.  I am hoping to make the news!

For those of you who do not know me I am the Founder and President of Gentle Giants, Inc. we are a small non profit giant breed dog rescue in NJ  we may only have a handful of volunteers but in the past 2.5 years we have found homes for over 200 giant breed puppies and adults.  We specialize in handicapped and disabled giants  to read more about us and our Furbabies please visit www.gentlegiantsinc.org    

Our dream is to open a no kill sanctuary for all the giant breeds that for whatever reason cannot be placed To inform the public about what really goes on out in the world when it comes to animal abuse and neglect...thats why I am participating in the 2009 Chainoff:)

Life on a chain`

Oh How it hurts me so~

In the sun,snow,wind and rain

without a dry place to go...

You brought me to your home~

to love and care for me..

But instead out in the yard,

You tied me to a tree..

With no treat and no toys

Sometimes...no water or food

Nobody to play with..

Thats why my sad mood..

If you didnt really want me..

you should have left e there~

Because maybe another family,

would have showed me they cared.

Oh PLEASE pass a law~

Prohibiting these chains..

Let me sit by the fire..

Instead of in the rain,

PLEASE help me make ..

This cruel act illegal..

For every size and shape dog

From Mastiff to Beagle.
