Our personal message:
Wow, this will be my 5th year with Strides for Hope!  And Michael and I are really looking forward to Big Sur.  We've started training and will be out there every Saturday until the event on April 27th.

If you've visited my pages before, you know why I'm doing this.  If you are new to my page, I'll briefly fill you in.  In 2001, my Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer (just before my youngest daughter was born).  One year later, I was diagnosed with liposarcoma and underwent rather major surgery (just before my daughter's 1st birthday).  Today, Mom and I are both doing well.  She is on the Strides for Hope Team for her 5th time as well.  We walk in honor of our own recovery as well as in honor (and in memory) of others who have fought the battle against cancer.

Please join us by making a contribution to the Wellness Community.  They serve people with cancer and their families every day.  The services are all provided free of charge, thanks to all of YOU!
