Located in Haverhill, MA, Emmaus provides over 1,700 different people with shelter, services, training and housing each year. Since 1985 Emmaus has responded to the needs of homeless people in Northern New England .

Emmaus’ services range from preventative programs and emergency shelters, to supported, affordable housing. Our training and education programs are also open to local community members. Emmaus’ has been named a “Champions in Action” agency by Citizens Bank and New England Cable News for our commitment to affordable housing.

Every week Emmaus must raise over $7,000.00 to maintain its 13 programs which all seek to restore people to their fullest potential. "Cycle for Shelter" is Emmaus' major fundraiser and 90 cents of every dollar goes to program services.

• $250.00 will shelter an adult or a child for a week.
• $100.00 will supply a meal for 30 people in our emergency shelter
• $50.00 will buy soft ware for our computer skills training program
• $20.00 will help pay for a children's tutor at the Family Shelter
