J's Magic Jet was a great race horse back in his prime.  He ran until he was 8 years old (which is quite a long career for a racehorse) and won over $50,000!  I met Magic at SUNY Cobleskill where he was fostered for our training program.  I fell in love with him and through him found the Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program.  I followed him all the way to Farmington, NY.  He helped me find my direction in life and I am determined to help him find his.  By donating to this cause, you will be helping ex-racehorses like magic and many others that pass through our facility.  Our goal this year is to place 125 horses into approved forever homes. Each dollar donated will help us to achieve our goal.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Half of what I raise here goes to FingerLakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program to help in the retraining and placing of our retired Thoroughbred racehorses in new homes. The other half goes to the Special Olympics which has an equestrian program for their athletes.
