We are walking in this event to raise money for the many animals that need our help at the Asheville Humane Society.  This year, we are walking in honor of our wonderful rescued animals, especially our dear canine companion Durango, whom we recently found out has cancer.  As most of you know, we rescued Durango from the grocery store parking lot in Fairview.  He came to us in terrible shape, but we have been able to give him many years of love. He has returned his thanks daily with companionship and snuggles.  He is the best dog ever, and we want to help all of the unwanted puppies out there find a wonderful home too.  Please sponsor us in this event.
