My personal message:

IT'S TRUE...I am doing it! I am running the 1/2 marathon as I always said I would. However, what makes this challenge SO incredibly special and so dear to my heart is that I am running in honor of an incredible charity that I work with, Horizons For Youth.

Horizons for Youth serves 108 kindergarten through eighth grade students in Chicago. Each child in the program receives a need-based scholarship, one-on-one mentoring, and various enrichment programs. It costs approximately $4000 to sponsor one child per year and our goal is to accept MORE than 108 children next year!
