Hi everyone,

I've always wanted to run a marathon but I've just never done it. Anyhow, this year I'm turning 30 and also returning to the US. What a better way to celebrate such a life-changing year than by finally running a marathon. I've signed up for the NY marathon and I'm running it for Camfed, an organization supporting female education; something I strongly believe in. I'd really appreciate any support that you give.

Also, as further inducement, for every $10 you donate, you will be automatically included in a raffle to win a prize. You can see all the prizes on my blog.

I hope these prizes help induce you to sponsor me for the race. I think it’s a great charity and one that we can all get behind.
