I am doing this in memory of my dog Cassidy. I took Cassidy home about 4 years ago when she was 5 months old. She was found wandering the streets and was brought into work. At the time I was looking for a dog and it all just seemed meant to be. Cassidy was a very loving dog with a playful side. The first time I brought my son home from the hospital she guarded him like she was his mother and only wanted to lick him. She took care of the whole family as much as we took care of her. Needless to say there are many great stories to tell in Cassidy's short and wonderful life.

Just recently some workers let her out of our back yard. I was not notified and when I got home Cassidy was gone. I went looking for her immediately and then I received the phone call from the Vet saying she has been found, but was struck by a vehicle and died. The person who found her called the Vet that was on Cassidy's tags. I called the person who found her and went and picked Cassidy up and took her home where she belongs. She still lives with us in Spirit and I hope that other stray animals can benefit from Cassidy's loving life with your donation.  RIP 3/10/2008
