My name is Cathy and I am the Facilitator for the Central Massachusetts LBD Caregivers Support Group. My husband, Donald, has Lewy Body Dementia. It is the second most common form of dementia behind Alzheimers Disease and yet, many people have never heard of it. We need to raise money for research, education and to get the word out about this disabling disease.
We will be participating in the Allan D. Morrison 5 K Race on October 17 in Melrose, Massachusetts. It is a race dedicated to raising money for LBD Research and Awareness. Our Support Group hopes to raise money for the Lewy Body Dementia Association, in honor and memory of all our loved ones with LBD . Donations in any amount will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to the LBDA, the national organization for Lewy Body Dementia (for more information their website is LBDA.org). Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
