Grab your walking shoes and get your dog leashes ready!  CCHS is inviting you to join us for our 3rd Annual Paws For a Cause Walk-a-thon. 

When:  Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 11am-2pm

Where:  Pleasant Hill Community Park
             147 Gregory Lane, Picnic Area 1
             Pleasant Hill, CA 94523

This fun family event will feature a walk-a-thon, raffle,contests and prizes for your canine companion and fun for the kids too!  We'll have wine sales & tasting available, as well as giveaways from pet-related vendors.

Enjoy a leisurely half-mile walk around the park loop, or have friends & family sponsor you to walk a certain number of loops.  Teams can be formed should you want to walk with pals or challenge yourselves to a relay!  A prize will be awarded to the person or team that walks the farthest. Registration fees are not required, although donations are greatly appreciated.  You can also create your own personal fundraising page through this site.

Your generous donations benefit Contra Costa Humane Society's life-saving animal programs.
