Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.  This will be my first time running a half marathon.  That is 13.1 miles for those unfamiliar with the race.

Besides wanting to run the race for myself, I am also "Running for a Reason" by raising money for the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon Charities Foundation.   I originally set goals of $300, then $500 and then $780 - One more time I've bumped the target to $1,000.  Every dollar makes a difference.  Help support the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay, Cerebral Palsy Inc. and the Salvation Army of Green Bay.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.

May 13th UPDATE - So I'm having a hard time with the tapering.  I just don't know what to do with myself not running more miles.  I guess that is what is suppose to happen so you are all ready on race day.  I'm very excited and feel good about the race.  I'm also very thankful for all the donations.  It is such a great feeling to know the money is going to help three really great causes.  No one ever expects to need help or having something bad happen, but if it does, its really good to know there are non-profit organizations out there to help you when you don't know where to turn.
