We are a US non profit 501(c)(3), with Foundations in Costa Rica & Panama. Mckee approaches the suffering of companion animals at the root, in the community. We do not use euthanasia, because it does not work, likewise, we do not spend limited community resources on shelters, which do not solve the issue of overpopulation and which are inhumane storage and killing facilities.

Our personal message:
Let us take our collective outrage, anger and sorrow over the poor starving dog, Natividad who was used as an "art" exhibit and let us take action to help the other starving strays in Central America.
Let us take action where no one at the "art" exhibit did. Let us help the other strays where people at the exhibit just stood around and watched. Let us make a difference because I know if we were there in Nicaragua at the exhibit, we would not have stood idly by as a sick & starving dog was chained to a wall to die.
The McKee Project in Latin America is dedicated to helping stray animals in Latin America through education, spay & neuter, vaccination & adoption programs.
Let us take action. Please make a donation. No amount is too great and no amount too small.

Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace.
