The members of Chapter 37 New York will ride bicycles from the World Trade Center site in NYC to Washington D.C. starting on May 9th to Honor, Respect and Remember law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
Chapter 37 was named in honor of the 37 Port Authority police officers who were killed in the line of duty on September 11th, 2001 at the World Trade Center. We are now also known as the New York chapter of the Police Unity Tour and include officers from New York, New Jersey, California and New Hampshire. In an effort to honor the ultimate sacrifice made by America’s law enforcement officers, the Police Unity Tour raises funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum. We can use your assistance to reach our goal and support our ride.
Our chapter, which includes riders and a support team hope that you can help make our ride a success. Without a doubt, a donation of (in-kind, space, material, or merchandise) will have a significant impact on remembering and honoring law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. It will also aid in the support of the National Law Enforcement Officers Museum and Memorial in Washington D.C.
The Police Unity Tour is a non-profit 501 ©(3) organization of the Internal Revenue Service, and Chapter 37 New York’s Federal Tax ID number is 74 – 3126832.
