<<<-- that was the default thing that they gave me so that you know whats good, i liked how it sounded, professional, but if you know me, I'm anything but that. So here’s my story….
Pleasant day to you good sir and or madam, my name is Chase Rodriguez, I am raising money for Camp Taylor. Now you might be wondering what Camp Taylor is, well for you who don’t know, please continue reading… (but if you know what’s good already, just skip down to the UPDATE.)
Camp Taylor is a Camp for children with Congenital Heart Disease. Most kids with CHD can’t attend “normal” summer camps because of the “High Risk” nature of their “Disease”, we’ve created a Camp that has everything they need so they can be as “High Risk” as they want, and not even notice. Here you can check out our website, www.kidsheartcamp.org . See if you can find me in the pictures section!
UPDATE
OKaye, now that I got that out of the way for the people who don’t know me and what I’m about, and now that they do know me, here’s a lil updayte from the last time you guys seen me. I got them pictures I promised you!!! so check it out I’m CHAYCE, I’m now 19 and soon to be 20 by the time camp goes down. I have tricuspid Artesia, transposition of the great arteries, lateral fontan procedure (the old school one), and wolf parkinsons white syndrome, 2 open heart surgeries and am waiting to be put on the heart transplant list so I can get that engine swap I need, put I few too many miles on this one, but not enough to kill it yet.
Camp Taylor means just about everything to me, since the first year they started when I was a camper to 3 years ago when I was old enough to start helping. Now I’m a leader/mentor, gofer, cabin leader, brother, and the skrew up son of the Camp Taylor family/KREW. I love being their for these kids, I love talking with their parents, I love the friends I’ve made and the relationships I’ve built.
So I ask you, if you can, please donate what ever you can to help this camp stay free for the kids that need it, to please pray for these kids that really need it, and help spread the word about a camp that really means it! We love our kids!
