The walk for the animals will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 and I'm hoping you can help me reach my goal.  This year I'm walking in honor of Sadie, my foster dog and her 3 puppies.  Sadie came to the shelter as a stray, who just a week later gave birth.  She has been a pleasure to take care of and I'm sure she will find a great home once her pups are old enough. 

When you donate to the walk, you support important programs such as our foster program.  Thanks to volunteers and staff, pets that might not have had a chance are given lots of TLC so they can come back to the shelter to find homes.

The Humane Society of Broward County is one of the largest adoption agencies in the Southeast United States. It is because of your generous donations that we are able to offer low-cost spay/neuter services for pets in our community, free humane educational presentations to school children, Animal Assisted Therapy for residents of nursing homes and hospitals, cruelty investigations and so much more. 

Sadie and I and all the other animals at my home hope you'll help us reach our goal, and help all the homeless animals at the shelter.
