Join us for the first Feeding Frenzy 5K - all registration fees collected will benefit Compassion International’s Child Survival Program. Your donation will supply: Prenatal care; Nutritious food and supplements; Ongoing health care; Infant survival training for mothers; Spiritual guidance and education; the loving support of a local church.

Race participants are also encouraged to bring canned food donations for the Cooperative Christian Ministry food pantries in Cabarrus County. www.cooperativeministry.com

Event time:

• 8:00am-8:45 am-onsite registration
• 8:15 am: half mile fun run
• 9am: 5K race

Cost:

• Pre-registration,18 years and older $20; race day registration: $25
• Under 18 years old for the 5K: $10 preregistration; $15 race day
• Kids 1/2 mile Fun Run begins at 8:15am (free, registration still required)

Notes related to cost:

• Checks and Cash payment only at onsite registration
• T-shirts and goody bags guaranteed for the first 200 registered 5K runners/participants only

Event prizes and awards:

• The first 200 pre-registered runners will receive an event t-shirt and goody bag
• Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: 9 and under; 10-14, 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+
