Captured in the wild in 1973, Negra is the oldest chimpanzee at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest (CSNW). The sanctuary is celebrating her birthday on June 13, which is the day her new life began. All of the chimpanzees at the sanctuary came to their new home in Cle Elum, WA on June 13, 2008, after serving as biomedical test subjects for decades. Instead of being poked and prodded, Negra and the rest of the Cle Elum Seven now live peacefully doing what they choose. Instead of living in a dank basement with no sunlight or fresh air, Negra now sits outside looking at the valley wrapped in a blanket. Thanks to donations from individuals like you, she will continue to live the sanctuary life that she so deserves. Please give today for Negra and for her six companions at the sanctuary.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. Don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
